Our company, Upright Resources Sdn. Bhd., started operation as an importer and seller including repair and maintenance in heavy duty trucks (Eg. Scania, Volvo and Hino). Subsequently, in 2012, as part of our continuing efforts to add value to our customers, we expanded our business into a transportation service provider. 

Furthermore, we have ventured into the Silica business and have established our own washing and drying plant in Kota Tinggi, Johor Bahru to cater our customers’ requirements. Currently, we are working hand-in-hand with Johor Silica Industries Sdn. Bhd., one of the most well-recognised sand suppliers in Malaysia, to supply our company with the necessary raw silica sand to meet our customer’s demand. We expanded our expertise into the glass recycling business and are considered a newcomer in the manufacture and sales of cullet products in Johor Bahru.  In a short period of time, we have established our satellite plant at Shah Alam, Philippines and India. Our main plant still remains at Johor Bahru. Raw materials are imported from our satellite plant and will undergo the final process and qualification on quality at our main plant in Johor Bahru. According to the market analysts our import for these raw materials will exceed our current forecast and expected to see a huge demand for this cullet in various countries over the next 5 years.
